How does it work? We post calls for testing to ask for feedback on specific upcoming features or releases; you can install the beta app and discuss here what you think of it. It’s easy, and it will help us to create the best possible WooCommerce experience for you!

  1. Login: New design and illustrations for the initial login screen, promoting the app’s main features. [3867]

  3. An update was made to networking and we should check that large lists load and scroll properly, that product updates work, etc.

  2. Fixed a UI bug in the shipping label formats description screen.
  3. An update was made to the script that generates the translations.

Call for Testing: WooCommerce for iOS 6.2

What’s new?

  1. Open or create a new variable product, create a new variation and add some attributes, remove one of the attributes, rename one of the attributes, delete one of the attributes. [3791]
  2. Open each major area of the app, try scrolling, comment below on how the titles look—did you find any problems with them? [3763]
  3. On the web, enable decimal stock quantities by installing a third-party extension on your store like WPC Product Quantity, update the inventory for at least one product and one product variation to have a decimal stock quantity, create new orders for products/variations with and without decimal stock quantities. In the app, verify that you can edit all product details for products without decimal stock quantities and that you can edit all product details except stock for products that have decimal stock quantities.   4. Open a store in the app that has no reviews, go to the review tab switch to another tab and back, verify the empty state appears and not the loading graphic.[3753]

WooCommerce for Android version 6.2 is is ready for testing. Your feedback helps us make sure WooCommerce app releases run smoothly and meet your needs.

What’s new?

  • This release contained mainly small fixes and performance improvements, so it would be great to test some critical flows.
  • Verify products are loading properly and you can add a new one, including adding/updating all of the product details available.
  • Try sending an order while logged out and make sure a notification is received and that you could tap on the notification and interact with the order including marking it as completed.
  • Browse the Stats in the My Store section, compare the stats to what you see on the web, verify everything looks good.

Call for Testing: WooCommerce for iOS 6.1

WooCommerce for iOS version 6.1 is available now on the beta channel. Your feedback helps us make sure new WooCommerce releases run smoothly and meet your needs.

What’s new?

  1. Open a product with variations, make changes to the attributes, verify you are able to save changes. [3628]
  2. Open a physical product, change the product to virtual in product settings and expect “Virtual” to show under product type, change the product to downloadable in the product settings and expect “Downloadable” to show under product type, turn off both virtual and downloadable in product settings and expect “Physical” to show under product type. Verify you can save changes. [3647]
  3. Create a product, open the description and verify the placeholder text says “Describe your product to your future customers…”, go back, add a title, open the description and verify the placeholder text says “Tell us more about [product title]…”. [3668]
  4. Create an order containing a product with downloadable files, open the order, tap the product, verify the downloadable files row is read-only when accessed via the orders screen. [3669]
  5. Open an order with an order status of failed / on hold / pending, tap “Details” below the product list inside the order, confirm that thumbnail images load correctly. [3678]
  6. Create a new product, try adding photos in various ways, try various actions while products are uploading, rearrange photos, delete photos, try to get the app to crash when working with image uploads.  [3693]
  7. Using iOS 14+, go deep into a flow navigation wise, long press the back button, verify the menu is populated with screen names. [3632]

Call for Testing: WooCommerce for Android 6.1

WooCommerce for Android version 6.1 is is ready for testing. Your feedback helps us make sure WooCommerce app releases run smoothly and meet your needs.

What’s new?

  • When editing a product, it’s no longer necessary to tap “Done” in every screen to save changes to the local product. Instead, all changes are automatically saved locally, and tapping “Update” in the main product detail screen will send those changes to the server.
  • Fixed a bug where the app doesn’t show the updated product settings.
  • Fixed a bug where the field of product price couldn’t be edited if the device’s language uses a different numerals system (e.g. Arabic).
  • Fixed a bug where the app doesn’t receive push notification for support request reply.

  • Due to popular demand, the product SKU is displayed once again in Order Details screen.
  • Updated copyright notice to WooCommerce.
  • Fix: top performers in “This Week” tab should be showing the same data as in WC Admin.
  • Fix: visitor stats in Dashboard should be more consistent with web data on days when the end date for more than one tab is the same (e.g. “This Week” and “This Month” both end on January 31).
  • Fix: navbar title on cross-sells products list displayed title for upsells.
  • Added drag-and-drop sorting to Linked Products.
